How these statistics work
Every time someone calculates a score, we store one anonymous number, their score, along with which test they took. We never store answers, names, emails or IP addresses. To keep the numbers fair, repeated submissions from the same visitor within a few minutes are counted only once.
Reading the chart
The bars show what share of test takers landed in each 10-point band. The average is the mean of all scores, and the median is the middle score: half of people scored higher and half lower. When a few extreme scores pull the average around, the median is often the better guide to a "typical" result.
A word of caution
These figures are not a scientific survey. The people who take an online purity test aren't a random sample of the population, and some people answer jokingly. Use the numbers for fun and curiosity, not as a standard you're supposed to meet.
